Victorian Dublin
New houses designed to complement their late Victorian setting
These three houses in Dublin needed to fit in with the 1870-1900 style of the houses around them, while also incorporating the best of modern construction.
The architect drew on distinctive details from houses of the period, such as the 12-foot ceilings and decorative brick detailing, and we supplied the rest: a total joinery fit-out, including conservatories, windows, and external and internal doors.
A grand double-height staircase – supplied and fitted by us – forms the centre piece of each house. Painted hardwood double-glazed sliding sash windows, fitted with high quality ‘Samuel Heath’ brass handles and casement stays, complete the traditional look with modern thermal efficiency.
“A big thank-you to you and the joiners who attended our job for the excellent quality of your work and service. The high standard of your team’s workmanship and careful attention to detail.”
